Rodent Control in Post Falls, ID

Post Falls has been building fast for years, and new construction and older riverside property fail in completely different ways.

Around Post Falls

Post Falls sits on the Rathdrum Prairie against the Washington line, with Coeur d’Alene to the east and the Spokane River along its southern edge, and Interstate 90 runs straight through it. The city is named for Frederick Post, a German immigrant who built a lumber mill on the river in 1871 on land he bought from Andrew Seltice, Chief of the Coeur d’Alene Tribe. That sale is recorded in a pictograph on a granite cliff in Treaty Rock Park, on N Compton St.

Falls Park is on W 4th Ave and the Post Falls Museum and Historical Society on E 4th Ave. Q’emiln Park is on W Parkway Dr, Black Bay Park on E 3rd Ave and Corbin Park on S Corbin Rd. City Hall and the Community Library Network at Post Falls are both on N Spokane St, and Buck Knives runs its manufacturing headquarters from S Lochsa St.

What makes Post Falls different

The newer subdivisions going up across the prairie side of town are tight buildings on the whole, and what lets rodents into them is rarely the structure - it is the details that get finished quickly: a dryer vent with no flap left, the gap where the gas line or the hose bib passes through the rim joist, garage door seals that never sat flat on the slab. Older property closer to the Spokane River is the opposite problem, with crawl spaces and additions built in stages, each seam a place something can get in. The river corridor itself keeps cover and water right up against the buildings along it, which is why we see more activity on those lots than on the open prairie.

The same five steps everywhere: a free home inspection, finding exactly how they are getting in, sealing those openings in steel and mortar, trapping and monitoring what is left inside, then cleaning and sanitizing. Our Coeur d’Alene office at 1217 E Maple Ave puts Post Falls a short run away. We also work Coeur d’Alene and Rathdrum and Liberty Lake, and the wider Coeur d’Alene area.

Rodent control in Post Falls: common questions

Do you charge extra to come out to Post Falls?

No. Post Falls is inside our normal service area and the inspection is free there like anywhere else.

How fast can you get to Post Falls?

Post Falls is covered by our Coeur d’Alene team. For a specific appointment window, call and ask - we would rather give you a real time than a slogan, particularly in winter when the driving decides the schedule.

No. The exclusion work is a one-time repair to your building, backed by the money-back guarantee. It is not a monthly service you keep paying for.
